Ikebana Suiban Rectangular Black Footed Geometric Vase Japanese Modern Art

Description

Ikebana footed, shallow suiban rectangular vase with blocky geometric design. One long side has an off-centered recessed panel & the opposite long side has an off-centered recessed top edge. Satin black glaze with white unglazed underside. Elevated on 4 unglazed small feet.
Partial Japanese label on interior bottom. “Made in Japan” label on underside with circular impression. Age unknown.
Approximate Size:
15” long x 3 3/4” wide x 3 1/2” high
Bowl interior: 2 7/8” deep.
Condition:
No chips, cracks or damage. A few glaze drips near top edges & corners. A few tiny indents & marks in glaze. A few light water marks on interior & crazing near label on interior bottom. Imperfections resulting from pottery making & glazing are not considered damage.
