Most of these belts were ultimately modified to remove the folding belt ring that means that not that many survived and certainly not that many survived. You can find more details in stephen Dorsey’s US martial web belts and bandoliers book this has the belt loops inside the pockets to separate the five round chargers dated 1918 with Russell manufacture markings I will be glad to provide more photos but please use the high definition photos as your description I’d like to add that where you see the leather come together inside the ring is not a flaw that is where the leather meats and how it’s manufactured.
