?This is a GENERIC LISTING for an ORIGINAL example of the M1926 knife issued in WWII for use with mess kits in the field.  All knives are in VERY GOOD condition as shown in an image of a typical knife.  The knives were made by a variety of manufacturers and the Utica Cutlery Co. hallmark shown in the close-up image is typical. Landers, Frary & Clark ("LF&C") was also a manufacturer and often dated its knives.  However, many knives were not hallmarked in any recognizable way.  Subject to availability, the buyer may request a LF&C 1945-dated knife.
Here is an opportunity for the collector or re-enactor to obtain a knife for the collection or field impression.  The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and satisfaction and a five-day (
not the 14-days which eBay injects into my listings without my consent
) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage.
