THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TYPE U.S.M.C. FIRST AID POUCH!!!
THE WAY THAT YOU TELL IS BY LOOKING AT THE WAY THAT THE WIREHOOK IS HELD ON THE POUCH, IF YOU SEE THOSE TWO RIVITS ON THE BACKSIDE WITH THE WIREHOOK GOUNG THRU IT, THAT IS A FIRST TYPE.
THESE WERE WORN WITH THE EAGLE SNAP AND LIFT THE DOT STYLE BELTS AND POUCHES
IT HAS AN ANCHOR ON THE BACK WOTH SOME NUMBERS SO IT POSSIBLY WAS CARRIED BY A NAVY CORMAN
THE METAL TIN IS CORRECT, IT IS WW1 AND IS A NAVY CONTRACED/ MARKED ONE, NOT ARMY
THE POUCH AND TIN ARE IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION AND WOULD MAKE A FINE ADDITION TO YOUR EARLY U.S.M.C. COLLECTION.
    DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP!
This is coming out of my 10 year collection of World War One and World War Two items and I’ve enjoyed them for years and I hope someone will as well. NO REFUNDS! I WILL NOT SHIP THIS BELT OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES!
