pre-WWI Era US Army Cavalry M1912 Picket Pin & Leather Scabbard - Excellent Condition - Original
Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era US Army Cavalry M1912 Picket Pin & Leather Scabbard.  These were originally used by the US Army Cavalry to secure their horses, while resting in a picket line.  It was normally attached to the saddle with the two leather straps.  The scabbard is used, see photo's for condition.  The leather is soft and supple, no cracks or crazing.  All seams are still intact.  Some minor surface cracks on the two straps.  No marking on the scabbard or the picket pin.  These are very hard to find, in this condition.
