Up for grabs here is a Slash personally owned and worn T-shirt!!!
This shirt was designed and produced by Marc Vachon, the famed Los Angeles clothing designer, who was known to make many of the stage outfits Velvet Revolver would wear when they were out on tour.
This shirt was originally auctioned through Julien’s Auction House out of Beverly Hills on March 26th, 2011. Julien’s is one of the premiere auction houses of celebrity memorabilia, and this auction was sanctioned by Slash himself with many pieces of his collection including dozens of personal items.
Shown here in this auction (but not included in the auction) are pictures of the Julien’s catalog to prove the origin of the shirt. You can clearly see this exact shirt in the catalog advertising the auction. Again, the catalog is not included.
Additionally…..INCLUDED HERE IS A PICTURE OF SLASH WEARING THIS EXACT SHIRT!!!! The picture was taken on April 12th, 2007 while he was on tour with Velvet Revolver in San Paulo, Brazil. I will include a copy of this photo with the shirt as it is an important piece of provenance for this item.
I will also include a copy of the auction card (shown) I received with the item.
Measures 20” pit to pit and 23” from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the shirt.
Tag has been removed (item was received that way). Some yellowing and staining as shown. No rips, tears, holes. In the same condition as it was received from Juliens. Never washed, ironed, or worn since I received it. Comes from a pet free, smoke free, climate controlled environment.
The item is in fantastic condition. Other than the imperfections shown and stated above, there is no damage that I can identify.
