Hi up for sale here is an original WWI canteen and cover. Two piece welded canteen. Cover is stamped inside right flap R.I.A. 1917. Canteen is of same period. There is a name etched into top of canteen, appears to be, "E Walker". The canteen has numerous dings and dents in it. Chain still present on canteen, no cup. Pictures tell the story. Has the cover been sewn on the back bottom? Not sure. You experts know. I don't see many Rock Island Arsenal ones for sale. Anyway, here it is.
