Vintage/Antique WW1 1918 US MILITARY, ARMY MARINES M-1910 CANTEEN W/CAP, CHAIN COVER AGM CO.
Canteen has some dents on it (see all pics). It looks like someone at some point in time had some tape on the canteen and cover, possibly with their name on it? No rips or tears in the fabric of the outside cover (see pics). The wool liner inside might be torn a little (see pics). Both snaps still work GREAT!  You can still see the faded "US" on the front of the cover. The cap still screws on nice and tightly. Some plier type marks on the outside of the cap. There is something written on the inside of one of the covers flaps, but I cant make out what it reads? (see pic #8).
NOTE: There's a slight FUNKY oder on the old cover, I wanted to wash it, but decided not to.
Just a nice 100 + year old World War-1 U.S.A. canteen and cover.
