M1915 Colt-Vickers Ammo Box
Original WW1 US ammo box for use with the M1915 Colt-Vickers water cooled machine gun, hard wood construction with brass hardware and brown leather handle. Measures 15 inches long [slightly longer than the box used with the M1917 Browning MG]. Retains approx. 60% original OD green painted finish and has ink stamped bullet stencil inside bottom to indicate belt feed direction. Leather handle is broken in center and bottom of box has a long hairline crack running the length of the box, otherwise undamaged. Still a nice piece for any WW1/ammo box/MG accessories display or collection and is in very good condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
