WWI US Army AEF M1910 Ammunition Cartridge Belt Springfield 03 L.C.C. & Co. 1918

Description

This WWI US Army AEF M1910 Ammunition Cartridge Belt is in excellent, clean condition and appears to have never been issued. Both sides of this belt are clearly marked L.C.C. & Co. 1918 and there is a a name and what appears to be an inspection stamp under the flap of one of the cartridge pouches. The brass hardware is clean and only a few eyelets show signs of age. The khaki fabric is free of tears, rips or stains and does not retain any musky odors. Of note, the web connecting belt only has one eyelet, where typically you would find three. 1918 saw cutbacks on production, like the subtraction of the individual pouch straps. This belt truly appears to have been stored properly over the years and makes a fantastic display.
